Strange screen on youtube page

Post by fixit7 »

On this page the video plays o.k., but the rest of the page is distorted.

Can others verify this behavior?

It's the page. It comes up the same way in Edge and in Vivaldi as it does in Firefox.

Looks okay to me in Seamonkey, Firefox and Edge.

Only the video shows up and plays here (SM 2.49.3 w/ Win 7 32bit) - rest of page is not rendering at all.
It's the only browser we have that won't render it correctly. Strange.

Strange, distorted in what way?

I'm getting not comments or thumbnails (XP.)

I've seen similar (in Win7) on YT pages that require a login to view the content.

(Don't visit YT that often, & rarely on XP.)

Checked mine again and see it also is not rendering the rest of thepage, only shows the video.
Added general.useragent.override.youtube.com;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Firefox 66.0) like Gecko to about:config and it works correctly.
