chat line greyed out

I was trying to chat with a National retailer concerning an online purchase. However when I try to click on Chat with expert the Chat button is greyed out and will not work. I then went to Microjunk Edge and the chat works fine. This obviously is a Firefox problem as the chat works on Edge. I tried several times, with same results each time.

Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

Dan, I restarted in safe mode and the problem went away. I then started normal mode with all addons, exetensions, etc. disabled. The problem returned when starting in this mode, so does not appear extensions is the problem. I created a new profile and the problem was gone again. New profile seems to be the solution, but I do not run into this problem often enough to be worth all the hassle to reload all my addons. Thanks for the help.
