Task Manager tells me I have 5 Firefox's open = SOLVED

I'm using 60.0.2 (64-bit) and I've noticed it has been slow on occasion recently, sometimes even to the point of a page freezing.

So, my first step was to have a peep at the Task Manager which tells me there are 5 Firefox's open although I only see one page.

Could some kind soul help me out please?

That's normal. The Firefox Multiprocess feature -- https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... ss_Firefox -- was introduced several versions ago.

If it causes issues, you can always set it back to "true."

current is 61.0.2 - please update for security reason!

I'm avoiding updating ..... when I tried it it broke quite a lot of my userChrome customisations so I rolled back to the version I have now = 60.0.2
Plus I trust my BullGuard to catch anything that might get through.
