hi
ver 52.3.0 ESR and win 10
I back up both my TB and FF profiles each week using Mozbackup
This is not a big issue and i have had it for almost 18 months, but today it bugged me
when I go to back up the FF profile I am presented with two profiles, one called 'default' and another called 2017 01 03
may I kindly ask how do i delete this 2017 01 03 profile?
I do not see it in the profiles when i go to users/app data/ etc etc etc
There is only the default profile
kindest thanks, cheers
peter

Re: Removing a profile
I'm guessing the only place you see reference to that second profile is in MozBackup. Is that right? If so it would seem the problem is within that utility and the reference is an anomaly.
You could search the hard drive for a file that would be common to all Firefox profiles, such as key?.db, just to confirm that a profile was not created in a non-standard location.

Re: Removing a profile
thank you again Dan for responding
I have tried everything and deleted all pesky profiles called 2017 01 03 on my computer
I have concluded its a problem of the Mozbackup utility as you suggested
I have surfed and searched the internet for a solution, but alas, no success there
I did find an alternative solution, and that is to simply copy the profile folders and save to a USB for example
I have a question but believe its better I start a new post for it, namely how to access the TB and FF profiles quickly to make copies
thanks again, cheers
