Too easy...
No, if i use this system, when I will open a link by an external application, firefox will run a normal window.
If I will open firefox directly in an anonymous window, the external link will be opened in the anonymous window

@keiichi, Limpet235 is moving your topic, to try to get your more help, what are you referring to by anonymous window? Also your user agent shows Firefox 48, that's way out of date, any reason you are running such an old version?

(This is Pale Moon, but in any case...)

https://forum.palemoon.org/search.php?k ... mit=Search

FF has a --private-window command line switch
FF can be set to always open in "Private" mode

With that, see what --new-instance may do on your end?
(You may be able to accomplish something there, not sure? I don't think you can on a Windows system.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Excuse me, I believe I did not express myself well.
For run firefox directly in anonymous browsing,
in windows I open command line and I run the following command

Code: Select all

 c:\programs\mozilla\firefox -private
or I modify the file .lnk;
in linux I open the command line and I run the following command

Code: Select all

 firefox& -private
or I modify the appropriate file.
In mac, If I try to run firefox by command line, I have

Code: Select all

 command not found
.
Where is firefox 'executable in mac? How can I create an icon to run firefox in anonymous browsing?

Profile folder - Firefox

Can you do a:

> which firefox.bin
or
> which firefox

(whatever the case may be?)

Code: Select all

$ which firefox
$
$ which firefox.bin
$
Anyway, I found firefox' executable with the command

Code: Select all

find . -type f -name firefox
Now, if I run firefox directly in anonymous mode going in the appropriate location and run it with the command

Code: Select all

./firefox -private&
And if do I want create an icon on desktop for run firefox directly in anonymous browsing?

keiichi,
Just to clear things up....
When I said/posted "Moving this to Firefox Support...", it simply meant that you would receive better attention in the Firefox Support forum.
You actually posted in the Firefox General forum....that is why it was moved.
It had nothing to do with "anonymous" browsing.

Actually Firefox 45.9.0 ESR (April 19, 2017) was the most up to date version with security fixes that you can run on Mac OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 as Fx 48.0.2 was Released in the previous year August 24, 2016.
