Hi,
I'm using Firefox 62.0 on a Mac with Sierra (10.12.6, I know it's not the latest Mac OS X version but I don't want to upgrade because my hard disk is not an SSD drive and I think it would slow down things a bit).
Everytime I restart the Mac or logout and login after using Firefox 62, I see some files in the Trash in a folder called "Recovered files" with subfolders called "(A Document Being Saved By FirefoxCP)".
There are many of them, like: (A Document Being Saved By FirefoxCP) (A Document Being Saved By FirefoxCP 2) (A Document Being Saved By FirefoxCP 3) (A Document Being Saved By FirefoxCP 4) now until (A Document Being Saved By FirefoxCP 28).
Is it just me or it started doing this from Firefox 62.0 on Mac OS X with Sierra?
Firefox 61.0.2 didn't do this thing.
Thanks.

Re: Recovered files folder in Mac's Trash after using Firefo
Recovered files shouldn't matter, do you shut down and turn on your Mac regularly?
Here's more information on recovered files for you - https://support.apple.com/kb/PH25506?lo ... le=en_ASIA

Yes, and I always quit Firefox before turning off my Mac.
However, it's just a small annoyance (emptying the Trash at start)
Thank you for your reply, I thought it was a known bug.

You are welcome. Yes I agree, that would be super annoying. Do you have STR? I could file a bug report for you.

No such issue here. Note that FF takes some time to completely shut down since it updates sqlite files from temp files; if it is not completely down and you turn off your Mac that could be the cause.FirefoxForever11111 wrote:Yes, and I always quit Firefox before turning off my Mac.

OK, maybe I have to wait a little bit more before turning off the Mac.
Thank you.

Maybe an extension requires an update for 62, or is not compatible?

Version 62.0.3 seems to have fixed it.
No more files in the Trash.
