Is there a way to remove or disable what is commonly referred to as "the status bar" at the bottom of the Quantum page?
I know most people ask for a way to restore it, but I just as soon have it gone.

You may have to create a folder under your profile called chrome and create a simple text file userChrome.css

I did the chrome thing to get the tabs on the bottom and it worked great.
