Removing Status Bar in Quantum 62....Kubuntu

Post by P38Usul »

Is there a way to remove or disable what is commonly referred to as "the status bar" at the bottom of the Quantum page?
I know most people ask for a way to restore it, but I just as soon have it gone.

Thanks

See if this link works.
You may have to create a folder under your profile called chrome and create a simple text file userChrome.css
You should precede everything with

Code: Select all

  @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");
From this link: Hide status bar
Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you
