I use Snagit from techsmith to create screen capture videos and they look good in media player classic, windows media player, Google Chrome, Firefox 56.02
However they look all washed out (whites become gray) in 62.02 64bit

are there any settings in about:config to influence video quality?

Re: FF62 64bit videos look washed out
I found a way to make the video look good (not washed out) by disabling the following string

but should I expect all FF users to do that?

Define "other browsers"
I know that snagit codec has issues as long the codec is not used. Chrome could use it but firefox dont. So you have to use a compatible output format.

Not seeing any difference on my end.
I don't have a dedicated video card.
SeaMonkey or FF62 vs MPlayer.

at least tried here in chromium and firefox 63 - colored. but as written in your other topic the image looks strange so i think its caused by your graphics/desktop settings.
