Hi anyone,
I’m not sure if it’s a problem of the add-on or Thunderbird itself.
I downloaded and installed the add-on MinimizeToTray:
https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/th ... /versions/
I than installed the xpi file manually in Thunderbird. I restart Thunderbird and the Add-on is working but not shown in the Add-ons Manager.
When I completely close Thunderbird and restart it, it's asking for permission to install the add-on. I have to confirm and restart again. It's again working but not shown in the Add-ons Manager in Thunderbird. And that in a loop means every time I start Thunderbird daily, I have to repeat this steps.
I'm running Debian xfce 64bit. The file permissions are the same as other add-ons have.
What else could cause that Thunderbird doesn't remember the decision?
Many thanks,
Hakinu220

Re: Add-ons permission loop
No idea. However, https://github.com/foudfou/FireTray/issues/242 has a link to a patched version of FireTray that works with Thunderbird 60.2.1
