Is there a know bug report about Help -> About Firefox not working for updates?

Once the update has been downloaded and you see a badge on the hamburger icon then About Firefox shows that an upodate is available
The Browser Console shows a lot of messages if I enable update logging.
If I paste the update UrL in the location bar then this update.xml file looks OK to.
