Trash folder not staying on screen

On one email account I have, when I open the trash folder the trash appears for a fraction of a second then disappears off the screen, is there a fix for this. Two other accounts work just fine.

When I open mail and delete what I don't want it goes to trash folder. Then I right click on it and it has drop down box with option to empty trash, but I always double check to make sure there is nothing that went to trash that I want to keep. Suddenly when I open trash to check it will not stay on screen for more that a fraction of a second.

I seem to have got it working right now. I clicked the trash folder properties and it had a "fix folder" option . I clicked that and it seems to have solved the problem !
