On both the desktop and Android version, I use Duck Duck Go. Obviously I could not if it wasn't installed, but the app and the desktop version keeps suggesting I install and use Duck Duck Go.
Firefox cant tell I'm already using Duck Duck Go?
I have DDG, why is Firefox pestering me about it?

What does the suggestion look like? Are you using the built-in search engine plugin or the DDG add-on or the DDG home page?
There was a Shield Study to recommend add-ons back in October, but I think it would have been disabled automatically by now. If you think you might have a study running, check the internal page (type or paste in address bar and press enter to load):

Going to the DDG home page displays an Add DuckDuckGo to Firefox popup.
There is a close "x" to dismiss it. It doesn't return in my tests of reloading the page multiple times.
