Post by tonino2424 »

Is there a internet security program that will not slow down FF from loading quickly?

First loading when you start your PC, or all the time?
I use NOD32 AV, after startup it usually updates daily definitions pretty quickly, while that's happening Fx first start can be a tad 'delayed'.
After than that Fx opens fast.

I have tried KIS 2019 and trend micro and it is really slow. Would forecastfox so it down as well?

Windows Defender that comes with win10 is pretty good. Its come a long way over the years and does a good job for me. Knock-Knock Wood, never had any issues with viruses or malware, but I'm careful where I go and what I download. I've never detected that Defender slows down Firefox in the least.

Also been using Forecastfox for years with out any slow-down problem that I've been able to detect.

See if starting in Safe Mode makes any difference?
