cryptic symbol in search interface

cryptic symbol in search interface

The search box suggestions are (or may be) preceded by a symbol that looks like a clock face. What is the significance of that symbol?

TheVisitor, I'm well aware of how to create a screenshot; but I see no instructions at your link for how to include the screenshot with my Mozillazine post. Perhaps I'm overlooking it??
