Still having issues with about:support when run the first time. I get momentary screen corruption and this: 'Multiprocess Windows 1/1 Unknown status'. A subsequent run of about:support has no screen corruption and it now says: 'Multiprocess Windows 1/1 Enabled by default'

I can't reproduce using an RX 570 with latest drivers. EDIT: I see OP is using a legacy 4800 series.

The 'Search Box' on the New Tab page is disappearing when you enter a search and jumps to the URL bar-search ? Not noticed that until just now, no idea when it changed, if it changed.

I can confirm that this also happens in safe mode.

I've been seeing this for several days now. Other times trying to type into it had no effect whatsoever (no characters appeared). Thought it might be related to browser.urlbar.quantumbar which I'd been trying out, or just my Win7 being flakey (once Fx wouldn't start at all - restarting Win7 fixed that). But now I'm not sure. Anyone know if this is a bug? Could they be deliberately trying to get us to use the urlbar for searches?

Seems it is by design. (I dislike such focus jump)

So it is now a fake search bar, a la Chrome's homepage.

Thanks Alice, seems rather 'jarring' to me. There is a pref: browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar that will for now, until they remove it, to revert back to old behavior.
