Re: Firefox 69: Flash disabled by default
Would anyone know if 'disabled Flash' will be a changeable setting in "about:Config"?

Re: Firefox 69: Flash disabled by default
Not quite sure what you're asking, but Flash control is configured in Addons Manager - Plugins.
(There is an about:config entry dealing with Flash, but don't know if it's still a viable Pref?)

Hmm... I guess that question was a little vague.
Mozilla has decided to disable Flash as a default in Firefox 69 and I was wondering if anyone knew just how that would be possible to do? Sadly I still, after all this time, have one site that still requires Flash

Re: Firefox 69: Flash disabled by default
If they are disabling it by default, have to figure that they are defaulting the setting in Addons Manager to 'Never Activate'.
(I would also assume that it would only be that way for a new Profile (?) with an existing Profile being left where it was ?)

The article said that 'Firefox/Mozilla will stop supporting Flash at that time. It also said that the user could enable it manually. But it did not say how.
My question was 'does anyone know how?' And I only asked because i was curious. I don't really care.

so what you are asking for does not matter...not until the first FF69 nightly build comes out later this year.

I suspect it had a lot to do with you trolling here again, Tinsmith. Best you think again on doing that here. The Mechanic wrote:so what you are asking for does not matter...not until the first FF69 nightly build comes out later this year.

Funny that, how he gets away with trolling any thread while some of us get binned for reacting to his BS...

Probably more subtle than most. But the old troll trick of finding a topic on a subject some people care about and then doing the faux 'I don't really care' stuff to prod them.. goes back ages.mightyglydd wrote:Funny that, how he gets away with trolling
Goes back ages with this guy too - http://forums.mozillazine.org/search.ph ... mit=Search
I'd write more, but I don't really care.
