I recently registered at Nikon's web site, using SM without problems, but now each time I attempt to log in it doesn't work. My ID and password work OK using Firefox. I attempted to log in using SM safe mode, but no luck. I manually cleared the cookies and have SM set to delete cache each time it closes, so I don't think that's the issue.
Any suggestions as to how to address this?

What is happening when you try to login? What error message, etc.

Re: Web Site Login Issue
There is no error message, nor any messages indicating the login is unsuccessful, but in Firefox, after logging in, placing the cursor over the account settings icon (where one has to click to log out), there is a drop down list, which does not appear in SM. In SM, clicking on the icon results in the log in box; no indication of being logged in.

As an experiment, try changing SM's user agent string to indicate that you are using Firefox -- https://www.howtogeek.com/113439/how-to ... xtensions/

Thanks. My user string was a little behind in versions, but after changing there was no difference in the Nikon site's response.

But to what UA did you update SM? Is it identifying as SeaMonkey or Firefox?

Re: Web Site Login Issue
I'm not sure how to answer your question, so here's the item and value:
general.useragent.override Value: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0
I see a general.useragent.complexOverride.moodle with a value of false. Is this possibly causing my problem?

Re: Web Site Login Issue
The override value you now have indicates Firefox 65.0 which should mean that the site thinks you are using the latest Firefox.
You can try toggling general.useragent.complexOverride.moodle to True to see if that helps.

I changed the moodle item to True, no change.

Re: Web Site Login Issue
There is a mismatch in the user agent.
You have "general.useragent.override Value: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65"
If your advertising yourself as Firefox 65, should the rv in (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:64.0) be rv:65.0.

Re: Web Site Login Issue
Good point, though, after changing the rv to 65.0 my problem isn't corrected.
