Selective syncing

Post by premier69 »

hey ho,

so i have a laptop, desktop and an android phablet. certain addons suit each device and i love having them synced BUT some (not all) addons should not be synced and it seems its an all or nothing deal?

user browser agent for example is useful on the phone only. grammarly however is not, on the android its redundant.

Per device and whether the data type is disabled or enabled, that is the control which is offered with Sync.

1st... I don't use sync but If I'm not mistaken I believe that the meister is saying that you get all the addons in each device and then you just need to disable the ones that you don't want active in that device.

Correct info posted below...

In Options / Preferences > Firefox Account see Sync Settings for the types of data that you want enabled on that particular device.
