Manually Sort Folders Won't Show Accounts

02/06/19 . . . TB 60.5.0 with "Manually sort folders" version 1.2.1 . . . Part of it is broken: Sort accounts tab - there's nothing there . . . the other tabs look ok

I determined to de-install "Manually sort folders", and instead, use the TB "Unified" view. Here are my notes:

If you have POP and/or IMAP mail accounts, there is a 'Unified' view. This is a quick method of instantly changing the view in the Folder Pane.

View / Folders / Unified
or
Menu / Folders / Unified

This shows a top level 'Inbox', with all Inbox emails displaying in that one Inbox.

It will also show all the separate mail account Inboxes as sub folders.

This means that you can click on the small arrow to the left of the top level Inbox to hide or display the separate sub folder Inboxes.

The Unified view will also be applied to all your default Thunderbird folders . . . [02/07/19 It adds a "Templates" and "Outbox" folder] followed by separate, personally created folders per account.

In the Unified view, it looks like you have to change each individual folder

https://github.com/Ximi1970/Manually-So ... s/releases has a version of the Manually Sort Folders add-on that the author claims supports 60.* . I found the reference to it by searching the Thunderbird 60 add-on compatibility thread at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... t=manually

The developer says version 1.2.1 supports Thunderbird 60 and that's the newest release.

The support site development version is an old version.

i.e. manually-sort-folders-201812152042.xpi (version 1.2.0)

version 1.2.0 is OK on Windows 10

Try this:

* disable automatic addon update
* remove version 1.2.1
* restart
* install version 1.2.0 from addons.thunderbird.net site
