Frequent freezing on Sierra

Post by Decidedly Devious »

This FF profile is very new - I deleted the old ESR version and installed Quantum...63? a couple months ago.

But recently the SBBOD appears at least once a day and I've been unable to find any clues in Console.

It seems to occur for no reason - not caused by clicking a link etc.
In fact it seems to happen most often when I'm just reading a page or have left the computer alone for a while.

About 30 minutes ago I opened FF and after about 10 minutes I was reading a webpage when it happened.
That finally irked me enough to post this thread.

Last week I was diagnosing another issue and had all my privacy apps disabled when it occurred (a few other addons were enabled).
I'd suspected one of them was casing this problem, but apparently not.

I hate creating new profiles but will if I have to. Or simply delete FF and reinstall since I'm the only user.

As you were advised before, create a new test profile and add NOTHING, reinstalling without a new profile is usually pointless.
@ Your UA indicates you are still using Fx60 (ESR?) NOT Fx 65.
