Update to FF 65.0 screws up top bar

Recently, FF updated to version 65.0. After the update, my top bar is completely messed up. My menu is gone, my tabs are on top of my bookmarks, the close button (X) is on top of the settings button...

What happened with this update? FF is totally screwed...

I didn't use any exotic upgrade. FF upgraded by its own to that new look'n'feel...

Will try your proposed solution, though...

Could solve the issue by restarting FF in safe mode and then build up the environment again until I reached the same state as before.

All well now.
