hi there
I took the plunge and upgraded from ver 52.3.0 ESR to version 60 something, and lost most of my favorite extensions.
I have now uninstalled the latest version and reinstalled the old ver 52.3.0 ESR, and am happy again
In the new version, when I searched for some extensions I love, they are not available, that I could see.
I would like to upgrade, but I love more existing extensions more so
May I kindly ask if there is a way to get old extensions to work in the new FF versions?
kindest thanks, cheers
peter

No. If they are not on the AMO site they are gone.petergo wrote:May I kindly ask if there is a way to get old extensions to work in the new FF versions?

You might try searching the AMO site for replacements that do what you want.

Re: Upgrade disaster, sorry
I.too, was hesitate to upgrade, but, I found many sites, were unreachable, with the older version, so, I upgraded and I'm not having any issues, but, I did have to learn the css code, so, that just about everything, except for my favorite, ColorfulTabs, worked again. I did find, that I could color my tabs another way, just not how ColorfulTabs did. But, that's not a real issue. So, maybe sometime in the future, the ColorfulTabs inventor may make it so, that it works with Quantum, but, maybe he won't. I, have learned allot though by reading what others have done, and have my Firefox just about how it was before. When one door closes another opens. Enjoy!James wrote:http://legacycollector.org/firefox-addons/
