I am sorry, I have forgotten to mention that the same occurs in Safe mode as well. If you right click in the search bar and choose Paste from the menu, does it work that way?

Yes, it does. I am beginning to think this is a [censored] problem as it cannot be reproduced in other search engines. If Manjaro has key control look at the hot keys and see what is on Ctrl+V for the system.

As I have written above, the key combination does not work duck only. Are you using the built into Firefox Duck Duck Go search engine, or one you installed from the world wide web?
