My platform: MacBook Pro. OS 10.9.5
SeaMonkey 2.94.4 A mail folder disappeared. Could not find it hiding in any other folder. Please help. Thanks Last edited by DanRaisch on April 17th, 2019, 5:47 am, edited 1 time in total.
Reason: (Mac) added to Subject line. ![]() How is the account set up in SeaMonkey, as POP or IMAP?
P O P Tks ![]() You should use the Mac's "find" function to search for a file with the name of the missing folder. There might be two files, one with the file name extension .msf and one with no file name extension.
Thank you.
It did not work for me, so I turned to my Time Machine weekly back ups. Found it on my second last back up - 10 days ago. I may miss 2-3 emails which is no big deal as it contains exchange with my daughter. It surely pays to back up. I do that twice - weekly on one external HD and monthly on another. Great investment. Will go the Cloud way as soon as my 5 year old MacBookPro will pack up. So far it seems the machine has no intention to do that. Enjoy Easter! ![]() A joyous Easter to you as well.
