In Compose window - how to restore menu and Toolbar?

Somehow both of these disappeared - how do I get them back? Thanks!

Click on the indicators in the left margin. Right click on the top browser bar.

no indicators - no top browser bar - and I can't find anything in about:config that looks on point.

Right click somewhere in the top bar and choose from the context menu what you want to see

top bar is gone. That's the problem - you can make both the top menu and top button row disappear and then what do you do?

Does pressing the alt key still bring up the menu? If so, press alt, and then select view, show/hide, menu bar.
