I my AppData Mozilla SeaMonkey directory there are 720 files named prefs-xxx.js, where xxx is a number from 1 to 720. The oldest is from 2015.
Do I need these file which total to over a gig of data?
Do I need theses files??

Nope, you can delete all of them, apart from the 'real' and latest prefs.js. Then backing up your whole profile is a good idea.WyleySam wrote:Do I need these file which total to over a gig of data?
AdwCleaner, apparently, causes this problem by deleting prefs.js. I dare say other things will do similar.
