saved files list does not persist
Hello: tbird 67b3 32bit as of 13may19,w10p. The "saved files" list (ctrl-j) does not persist on restart of t-bird. I have checked 2pgs of mozilla sppt (t-bird forum) & no ans. This issue addressed in FF in 2006 (as of my search today). I also checked config ed & nothing there using keywd "saved". How can this behavior be changed? Thank you.

Moving to Thunderbird Builds where pre-release versions are discussed.

Works for me (with 32-bit 67.0b3 under Windows 10).
That command doesn't seem to be listed in the Thunderbird list of keyboard shortcuts, only in the one for Firefox (in the tools section).

Re: saved files list does not persist
Thanks, but in my w10 t-bird as above does show the kb shortcut right next to the word "downloads." (The list in t-bird does appear, no matter how I access). Either way,the issue is why the list does not persist after ending session & restarting. Thanks again.
And - thanks for moving, I wasn't sure where to post it & assumed sysadmin(s) would review. I assume (?) this is not an issue in stable, list persists?

Where is the downloads menu item you are talking about? The closest I can find to that is file -> offline -> download/sync now (which is not what you're talking about).
I wasn't aware such as shortcut or command existed before your post. When I said it didn't appear to be listed, I was referring to on-line doc. such as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts

Re: saved files list does not persist
I can confirm that the Tools/Saved Files (Ctrl+J) list is not saved in TB 67b3 32-bit/W10, but it is saved in TB 60.6.1. No idea where it's stored.

Same on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Linux. Saved Files list is cleared on quitting and restarting 67.0b3, list is still populated in 60.6.1 after a restart.sfhowes wrote:I can confirm that the Tools/Saved Files (Ctrl+J) list is not saved in TB 67b3 32-bit/W10, but it is saved in TB 60.6.1. Looks like a bug to me.
Edit: Just tested with TB 68.0a1 and the list is also cleared upon a restart.
