The hotfix for 47-56 has actually a maxVersion set to 60 in install.rdf.
The 57-60 Quantum version uses async/await and will only work in Firefox 52 and later, so they needed to remove these keywords to get support for versions older than 52 and include support for older Mac OS X versions.
It is a pity that they went for Firefox 47 and not go back to 45 esr because the last 45.9.0 esr version was released at the same time as the second 52 esr release (52.1.0) and thus has a lot more security patches and should be considered safer than 47 or 48.
(FIXED) what is the certificate problem and fix for 49.0.2?

(Good thing you can simply change the <em:minVersion> & fix that .
Oh wait, but that breaks the signing :evil lol: .)
