I can open an RSS feed (written in XML) in several other browsers and it gets formatted to something readable and usable. But Firefox cannot handle simple XML for some reason. Why not?

This looks fine in Internet Explorer (!), but is unusable in Firefox. Weirdly, the program complains that there is no style information associated with the document. Yes, there is. It's easily seen at the top of the document with View Source.
<rss xmlns:npr="https://www.npr.org/rss/" xmlns:nprml="https://api.npr.org/nprml" xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" version="2.0">
Why do other browsers recognize this and use it, but Firefox does not?
Why can't Firefox parse XML?

Re: Why can't Firefox parse XML?
Firefox dont have any longer live bookmarks -> RSS, so why ask about an RSS which is build on xml? source is structured as rss, see your code line.

So that's why it doesn't work in FF.
Now why would they remove a seemingly useful function from the browser, you know, like the ability to render a page?
(I used to use, https://blocked.cdn.mozilla.net/e00b263 ... 58f31.html.
Then I went with, https://blocked.cdn.mozilla.net/312e30b ... 20f6a.html.
Wonder what winner I'll pick next?
