so it was not a 10 minute fix ....
sorry about that.
had a look at the test pages with 2.49.4 and 2.49.5.
both new profiles.
made screenschots from both versions.
uploaded here , hope that is ok.

latest mypal and google chrome 49.0.2623.112 display the test pages the same as seamonkey 2.49.5.
instagram is good without the css mod.
still need to use the four dll files from palemoon 28.6.0a1 xpmod or mypal 28.5.2 for full html5 support without flash.

these are only needed for xp.

As stated this will not happen in the official version. We will not use foreign backlevel binaries. I looked at the changelog in the source for both and didn't spot anything specific to mkv or mp4 support in older versions. If someone has a source patch against mozilla_esr52 to enable this I will look into it at least for Bills builds.

hardys they will be in the 06/29 2.53 builds. Seems Windows is not done yet. If there is a problem with the builder Bill will fix it as soon as possible I am sure.

• The latest unofficial (WG9's) version of SeaMonkey 2.49.5 (BuildID=20190630033533) is totally broken, on fully updated VoidLinux x86_64
  
  It doesn't even start, and crashes all the time (at least it has crashed 15 times).
  Doesn't start in safe mode or with a new user profile.

Please download the new build I just posted and try again. I reverted to using the compiler I had used to get the previous successful build and that fixed the issue.
