Help me fix sites that display broken or jibberish font?

Post by efox99 »

If I uncheck the box:

I see this problem on this board, as well on some others:

How do I fix this? Did I mistakenly delete a font in my font folder?

this forum uses:
font-family: "Lucida Grande", "Trebuchet MS", Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
looks like that one of these fonts is broken on your system if you only see "dddddd". NO firefox problem. use some kind of system repair please.

#edit: typos

What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

@DanRaisch

My apologies for the massive pics. :oops:

@Brummelchen

Great service post! Re-installing "Lucida Grande & Lucida Bold" fonts fixed my issue. =D>

Thanks fellas!
