I moved to a new computer, install TB and copied old profile to the new one.
But I discovered that a local folder with its subfolders (Support) where missing.
The other local folder with its subfolders were OK (Mina Mappar).
When I made a search of some of the mail that were in the missing folder (Support) I got a hit ... apparently the are in the system.
Here are the files in my profile that causes problem:
1) cd ".thunderbird/mqq73syo.default/Mail/Local Folders"; ls -l
drwxrwxr-x 4 forsete forsete 4096 jul 7 17:01 'Mina Mappar.sbd'
2) cd ".thunderbird/mqq73syo.default/Mail/Local Folders/Mina Mappar.sbd"; ls -l
-rw------- 1 forsete forsete 0 maj 6 18:43 'Mina Mappar'
-rw-rw-r-- 1 forsete forsete 2385 jul 7 17:03 'Mina Mappar.msf'
drwx------ 5 forsete forsete 4096 jul 7 16:54 'Mina Mappar.sbd'
drwxrwxr-x 2 forsete forsete 4096 dec 7 2018 Support.sbd
The folder 'Mina Mappar.sbd' contains my folders that I see in TB ... good.
When I make a list of Support.sbd the missing folders are there ... but how do get them to show in TB ???
The correct view in TB shoulde be:
Mina Mappar
... subfolder
Support
... subfolders
but I only see
Mina Mappar
... subfolder
have TB 60.7.2 Ubuntu

Re: Missing local folder
Check that the *.msf files aren't read-only. That can cause Thunderbird to hide a mail folder. I'm not familiar enough with ls -l to interpret the attribute string.
Worst case, import the missing folders into a different location using the ImportExportTools add-on, and then move them.

They are not read-only
As you can see there is no Support.msf
I read somewhere that it is created automatically when TB start ... could that be the problem?

Re: Missing local folder
Missing *.msf files are created automatically on startup if there is a mbox file. Is there a "Support." file?
If Support has no child folders and you are using a IMAP account with offline folders disabled I'd expect to see just the .sbd and .msf files. Since its within Local Folders I'd expect to see a .sbd subdirectory, and both a .msf and mbox file.

Re: Missing local folder
Problem solved.
I created a new folder XXX in 'Mina Mappar' in TB and then via command line copied all files in Support.sbd to xxx.sbd and ...voilà the missing folders were displaye in TB.
Thanks for your support
