Bookmarks and paswswords lost? [Linux.]

Post by cowboy7307 »

I am using Firefox 64 on Linux mint19
I had to reinstall yesterday and when i went to down load passwords via sync i think it has copied the password and bookmark file that had nothing in it instead of downloading them,
have i lost them completely or is there a way to recover all passwords and bookmarks
thanks

If you have backups... or a backup of your Profile...

Bookmark backups in a directory named, /bookmarkbackups/ (or maybe also in your Profile Folder as, bookmarks.html).
Fire 750, bring back 250.

@cowboy7307

you need to get this back from your previous profile:
bookmarks => places.sqlite
passwords => logins.json + cert9.db + key4.db
