How to get informed about new Recommended extensions?
I find the initiative of Recommended Extensions really good (even if Greasemonkey and Stylish are not listed...)
Is there a way to get informed, by email or rss, about new Recommended Extensions?

Oh, that's it, just had to turn up the hornet's nest.
Read & rant, err, weep, https://mozilla.logbot.info/firefox/20190713#c16461229 .
(I will note, that either 1) my rant returned positive results, or 2) AMO happened to make changes coinciding with the time of my rant.)
And I'll note that over time, I have looked at various "reviews" by "Mozilla", & generally they were pitiful (including so far as to recommend malware). And when I (of course) posted negatively about said reviewers review, my post, oddly disappeared?
("Mozilla" is very, very poor at "marketing", expressing itself in general, so most anything they post is drivel. They could really stand to hire an actual professional for that. [I hear that Sarah Saunders is available, & is actually good at that kind of thing.])

doesn't work for me, it still put them in there with this set to false, and still noway to delete them out. Just for clarification, this is in the recommendation heading only. But if I don't want them now or ever, would be nice to be able to delete them so they are not hanging around. When FF loaded 68 on my comp, it took out my royale 2 theme, and installed Rainbow Blur in it's place, from the recommendation heading, which I then had to undo, because Rainbow blur destroyed a lot of my custom work.

Shouldn't some CSS take care of that?Just for clarification, this is in the recommendation heading only.

Re: How to get informed about new Recommended extensions?
I can hide the recommendations in the extensions and themes sections in the about:addons tab without css.
* set extensions.htmlaboutaddons.recommendations.enabled pref to false (default true)
* reload about:addons tab
Firefox 68.0.1
Windows 7 SP1 32-bit
* set extensions.htmlaboutaddons.recommendations.enabled pref to false (default true)
* reload about:addons tab
Firefox 68.0.1
Windows 7 SP1 32-bit

Re: How to get informed about new Recommended extensions?
No, I think the riddler now wants to hide the about:addons 'Recommendations' "category".
So:
-Recommendations
-Extensions
-Themes
-Plugins
Becomes:
-Extensions
-Themes
-Plugins
So:
-Recommendations
-Extensions
-Themes
-Plugins
Becomes:
-Extensions
-Themes

Re: How to get informed about new Recommended extensions?
You need an agent sheet style to hide the recommendations section. (too much trouble)
