Firefox cache and image problem!

Post by molitar »

Ok I go to a page that has 52 images on it. I scroll through them one at a time to make sure they load. Scroll back up and the images pre-loaded are all missing! They have to re-load? Why is Firefox not remembering the page? Why is it not caching properly? How can I fix this problem?

Ok I picked one that contains just swimsuit images. I am thinking it is a problem with some cache setting when it comes to images.

https://e-hentai.org/mpv/1448141/d320af4d53/#page1

As the images are very large and a lot of them. When I did say a manga that only had small pages about a 100K or so pages it appeared to cache them fine. This page only has 25 but I can see the problem with one or two pages having to reload part of the image as it will suddenly load image.

When I try to use an image downloader or grabber it will never find more then about 8-10 images at a time.

Is there perhaps a tab cache size option or image size option that maybe too low? These images are nearly a MB in size each.

Ok with a bit more experimenting it appears that each image is actually loaded as html pages with single image. So could it be a limit to pages that can be loaded into cache?

page1.html
page2.html
page3.html
................
page68.html

Each page is nothing but a single image. The direct link that I provided is an art book with swimsuits so nothing porn on that particular link. But maybe it won't show up if not signed in that I am not sure of. But is there a possible limit to how many pages can load? Is there a cache setting or that which can be changed to increase that?

Deal with it thats your hentai page is created dynamically and no static html. So its refreshed each visit. At least i dont care about anime or hentai for reason - except "captain future"^^
