browser.warnOnQuit

Post by v1adimir »

Sorry (I can appreciate that this topic is exhausted!), but, once again browser.warnOnQuit behavior has been altered (for the worse), even on ESR. There used to be a nice dialog: 1) Save and Quit, 2) Quit and 3) Cancel

... And, it's gone! The settings are still all there, about:config?filter=warnon however, the behavior's different and we're no longer given this absolutely necessary and logical choice. Currently running 68.0.1esr (x64, ofc.)

Any *info, any hope of this getting fixed?

not sure whom to blame - Brinkman or you. mozilla separated sessions from closing - anytime you can recover the last session, either by settings or re-opening them with the menu. he put a link to the german info page which clearly says (translated):

Firefox Session Recovery allows you to quit Firefox and later restart the Mozilla browser with these tabs. With automatic session recovery, the most recently opened tabs open on their own after startup; in the case of non-automatic session recovery, the tabs of the last session can be opened via a corresponding entry in the Firefox menu.

get along with it.
