Searchguide is becoming a real PITN.
Keeps changing it's url's to spoof itself and seems to have infected Hurricane electric in both LA and NY.
198.105.244.264 and 198.105.254.64 are currently in use but there are more IPs under the 198.105.x x subnets.
If a network is slowed down there appears to be a shift, deliberate or not, from an infected network, to a SearchGuide manifestation. At risk are login sites in particular where Searchguide steal personal passwords and other information of the accounts. May have been spread by software providers out of Colorado.

@Brummelchen - it's a matter of getting the actual page or some knock-off. SearchGuide is crap and any ISP or network depl0ying it should be held accountable.

198.105.244.11 198.105.244.13 198.105.244.19 198.105.244.21 198.105.244.24 198.105.244.64 198.105.244.70 198.105.244.74 198.105.244.111 198.105.244.114
198.105.244.120 198.105.244.130 198.105.244.228 198.105.244.11 198.105.254.19 198.105.254.23 198.105.254.24 198.105.254.63 198.105.254.64 198.105.254.65
search-error.com searchguide.com searchguide.net searchguideinc.com searchguideinc.net searchguide.level3.com searchguide.level3.net
I have pictures of the source building in Santa Monica where some of the searchguide garbage comes from, working on Colorado.

You can add a lot of 99.84.x.x IPs as well , most are porn and adverts for things which don't exist.
So much of this garbage is being protected by AWS it has to make you wonder if AWS isn't some kind of Martian invasion force.

34.209.130.220 - grabs an HP system and creates a DoS and access limitation. AWS needs to go away

The point of this thread was to show IPs or Urls which are/were not operating properly.
In most cases some form of Denial of Service, system probe or maintaining a constant connection when a disconnect should have occurred. It's not politics, commerce or chicken little but logged events or connection interruptions. In all cases further review and investigation beyond simply posting the IP or URL is done.

Granted most may appear to be legitimate advertising coming from Amazon, Google or elsewhere but those usually make the effort and go away if they are blocked. It's the ones which use backdoors, push their way past the firewalls or adblockers and try to commandeer the system and connection in one way or another.
An example of why this is important are printer cartridges supposedly expiring or becoming useless before their time. A number of people blame HP for this but in a couple of cases it was a third party bad actor.

When on line this morning there were plenty of hits from advert ips on Amazon and Google but only in one case was there a failure to break properly and an attempt to maintain a permanent connection. It was not at the level of the ones already posted.

Arrogant ridicule from those supposed computer adepts or having a higher level of understanding doesn't help and only shows ignorance, particularly when they have ulterior motives on their side or may be participatory villains.
