ImportExport Tools for 68?

I've just downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird (I believe 68?), however the standard ImportExportTools does not seem to be working with that version. There is also something available called ImportExportTools NG - can anyone comment if this has a good reputation and has been confirmed working/clean etc?

Probably legit then? Is there any more concrete/official way to determine legitimacy? I'm quite new to Thunderbird so it's a bit difficult for me to assess what is safe and what isn't.

The ImportExportTools extension is the most popular extension after the Lightning extension.

The ImportExportTools NG extension is reviewed and featured on ATN.
