How to rearrange folders

Post by i_am_jim »

I have fifteen mail folders under one account. I would like to rearrange them. How do I move a folder to a different location in the tree?

Thanks for your reply.

I assumed TB provided a way to do that.

Not trying to be critical but that extension says it only works through v64. I'm running v69

As I'm sure you already khow folders are arranged in alphabetical order.

I liked how outlook had a favorites folder where you could make certain folders appear at the top of the tree. I have 100+ folders. Here is how I solved the problem for my needs:

Under the inbox I created a folder named " _*Favorites ". That Folder appears as the first folder under the Inbox. I then create my favorites folders under the _*Favorites folder.

After the _*Favorites folder I wanted a folder to appear next for my clients. So I created a folder under the Inbox named " _Clients " . That folder then appears immediately after the _*Favorites folder and its sub-folders. I then make subfolders for my clients under the _Clients folder.

It works just fine. You might adopt this technique for your folder tree.
