Hi,
today i migrated emails from my notebook to my desktop computer.
under Kubundu 19.04m, thunderbird version is 60.8.0.
I wanted to archive emails but i do not see anymore the ARCHIVE option in thunderbird while you selected incoming emails folder or outgoing folder.
It is still available when you select email but not when you select a folder.
Why ?
what's wrong ?
i use it a lot to archive my emails per year and with the current structure:
- incoming
-- work
--- suppliers
--- ...
-- perso
-- ..
- outgoing
-- work
-- perso
-- ...
where is the option now ?
maybe there is an addon to do that now?
thx

I don't believe that Thunderbird ever offered an option to archive by folder, only by selected messages. There may have been an extension which provided for working at the folder level but I am not aware of any such offering.
Use the settings under Edit → Account Settings->Copies & Folders to select the target for archiving messages.

If you read correctly what you gave as link (and by the way, what i already used), you will understand that you can select any folder and in context/popup menu click archive to archive emails from the selected folder according to settings given in tools->account options this feature was available in v58 but in v60 it is not available anymore...at least so far as i could see
