Okay, so then how do I disable alternate data streams without risking ALL non-url based internet threats? (Will AV & AntiMalware protect me if I disable?)
How do I create a script to delete meta-data, maybe runs in background, waiting for a shortcut to be created and then automatically unblock?
Can I do this securely via macro creator?
Okay, Thank you everyone! I was completely stuck before this thread and I learned a lot from your help!
I disabled it via gpedit.msc and new links no longer retain meta info. I just hope this doesn't make my computer unsafe.
Btw is there a way to downgrade my portable firefox from 69.0.2 to 68, so I can switch to ESR when 68 ESR is released?
ofc it do - i wrote earlier to you about that ADS (files) contain the "zone" from where files come - internet is another zone than your local computer, so files from internet are from a not secure zone and flagged with ADS.
Okay, I notice that now I can't edit the shortcut location either, now that I've disabled the zone blocking.
Is this by design or to do with something else?
