Gridlines - again

Post by FoxyFanny »

I've recently updated from 60.9.0 to 68.1.2, and am ploughing through straightening out the lost addons and various quirks in the new release.

However, I've lost my gridlines in the message pane, which were previously supplied through a few lines in Userchrome.css. These are:-
/*
* Dashed horizontal and vertical gridlines in the folder listing
*/
#threadTree treechildren:-moz-tree-row {
border-bottom:1px dashed #CEC6C6 !important;
}
#threadTree treechildren:-moz-tree-column {
border-right:1px dashed #CEC6C6 !important;
}

Is this now non-operative, or should I do something else? The message list isn't too easy too read without the gridlines.

Also, another question. Many of the links here point to kb.mozillazine.org, which is apparently unreachable. How can I get to these links?

I realise this is all a bit "old hat", but after years of cosy operation without intervention, Thunderbird has now become something that needs my attention.

Try "treechildren::-moz-tree" instead of "treechildren:-moz-tree".

Kerz has made the KB wiki read-only. He may be in the process of shutting down the KB wiki.

That doesn't affect reaching the links, as the OP wanted, though.

In Firefox and Vivaldi, first "Server not found" for kb.mozillazine.org, then "problem loading page" (timeout). I think this may be transient, and will recheck to see.

Meanwhile, I'll change my CSS file as per @morat's suggestion.

Edit

Thanks, @morat. I've done this and it works fine. I can't see how it worked before as it was, and not now, but at least I can read my emails somewhat better.

Both http://kb.mozillazine.org/Knowledge_Base and http://kb.mozillazine.org/ work for me to bring up the Knowledge Base. Good to have the Wayback Machine link handy as well (thanks @Morat)
