At some point, 60.8.0 updated to 60.9.0, which updated to 68.1.0, which updated to 68.1.1.
Now, it only goes up to 60.9.0. The 68.1.0 and 68.1.1 updates are no longer coming through.

At some point you updated from within 60.8.0 to 68.1.1 and now you are not using 68.1.1, but are using 60.9.0DN123ABC wrote:At some point, 60.8.0 updated to 60.9.0, which updated to 68.1.0, which updated to 68.1.1.

AFAIK updates from within Thunderbird 60.x.x to 68.x.x haven't been turned on by release management.

I'm just the messenger here. I'm reporting what happened.WaltS48 wrote:At some point you updated from within 60.8.0 to 68.1.1 and now you are not using 68.1.1, but are using 60.9.0DN123ABC wrote:At some point, 60.8.0 updated to 60.9.0, which updated to 68.1.0, which updated to 68.1.1.

It is not only me. A handful of people are also on 68.1.1, and most of the remaining people are on 60.9.0 with no upgrade available. Is 60.9.0 higher than 68.1.1 in this weird world of Walt and Thunderbird?
This is right from Thunderbird: 68.1.1 (32-bit)
For some reason, I can't paste an image of the screen here.

Re: Daily Build Thread 2019-01-01+ (after Dawn)
Release notes say that updates to 68.1 from 60.9.0 would be available.
Release management only turns those on for a certain percentage of users.
A fix for 68.1.1 was released and the process repeats. They probably throttled all updates because a 68.1.2 release candidate is in the process of being tested that fixes some bugs with the Today pane and others.
Have some patience.
My Thunderbird 60.8.0 from the Ubuntu repository just updated to 60.9.0 today on my Linux system.

They don't do release notes for the Daily version.Mouse4 wrote:anyone have any Release Notes of TB 71 ?
I follow the comm-central Changelog feed. This link should work in your feed reader application.
https://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/rss-log
One new feature is the removal of the Today pane from showing alongside the Preferences and Add-ons Manager tabs, because a developer thought it was distracting and couldn't bother to click the Today Pane button in the Status bar to hide it. Even removed the button from those tabs.
It only shows alongside the Mail and Calendar tabs now.
Not sure what else they plan on breaking that users have been used to seeing for years. This user anyway.
I think a redesigned address book and composition window are in the works.

I'm seriously rethinking being a release candidate tester because I can no longer tell what is a bug or a new feature.

Kind of surprised and disappointed that there is still no public 64-bit build available as an update. This should have happened over a year ago at least. Think they'll get it by the time Windows 7 is gone after the new year?

Unlike with 64-bit Linux and 64-bit Mac OSX where 64-bit builds were actually needed in order to run, there is still no real need for Win64 builds when there are other things that have priority of resources and devs time.

It's a forum for the Seamonkey community (there is a clue in the forum name) and even then will only spring into action if/when mozillaZine ends. Anything else is at the invitation of the admin there.

Waiting for you to test the release candidate on Windows , and I think they are working on a third build that will probably need tested.Mouse4 wrote:whats the hold up of getting TB71 Beta 3 out the door?
I tested build1 on Linux last Friday. The Mac tester also tested that build on Friday.
