Hi, i have this setting at 30 days but email older than 30 days is not being deleted. Am I missing something? Thanks.

How is that account set up, as POP or IMAP?

And did you set that 30 day policy by right clicking on the name of the Junk folder and then on the "Retention Policy" tab? Or did you use menu path Tools->Account Settings->Junk Settings->Destination and Retention?

Then the issue may be that the IMAP server is not obeying the retention rule actions sent by Thunderbird. Who is the email provider?

Hm, just checked, in my email proper, the spam cleaning is set to every 15 days. So neither that, nor TB's rule is being executed... Maybe if I set them for the same interval, or remove one of them... The email provider is register.com.
