IMAP back to POP3

IMAP back to POP3
I am trying to revert back to a POP3 account and looking for instruction on how to do that. I have managed to create a new account (I think), but now faced with having to accounts, one POP3 and the other IMAP. How to I delete the IMAP account?

Select the account in tools -> account settings and then use account actions -> remove account to delete it.
Before you do that you might want to move messages in the IMAP account that are not in the inbox to folders in the POP account as POP accounts only know about the inbox folder on the mail server.
