Is there a way to get a Chrome like video pop up for Youtube

One that has a lil video pop up and you can watch it while switching tabs, that is one feature I can't find, all extensions I can find do NOT let you watch it as you switch tabs so they are useless to me.

Have you considered simply opening that video in a separate window and sizing that to be out of the way of your main Firefox browsing window?

Moving to Firefox Support.

In Windows 10 using Firefox 71 (most current release version today), if you hover a video in youtube, on the right side of the video there is a little blue icon that pops up. If you click that, you get a picture in picture mode of the video that you can move around. It stays on top of all other windows. It's rudimentary at this point (you can move the video window around) but you cannot do anything but pause the video at this point.
