Why are are so few add-on extensions approved each day?

Post by Code Name »

Why are so few add-on extensions approved each day? Is there an elaborate, exhaustive review process they must go through before being approved? It appears only one to three add-on extensions get approved most days, and sometimes none or maybe only one. That's not many add-ons to receive approval when there are currently 10 people approving them I'm told!

Also, I see that the 'TB60 Compatible', the 'TB68 Compatible' and '2 Week Activity' Extension & Statistic Reports ( https://cleidigh.github.io/ThunderKdB/ ) have not been updated since mid-December. :?

You realize , I hope, that MozillaZine is not involved in issuing those approvals/releases.

No, I didn't. The forum category says 'Extension/Theme Releases' so I figured there would certainly be some connection... Guess not. Confused :?

Should this thread (linked below) be in the Extensions and Themes ‹ Extension/Theme Releases forum or in the Mozilla Thunderbird ‹ Thunderbird Support forum (where it is)? I'm confused! :?

Have you read the disclaimer for this forum at the bottom of the column on the right?

No, I do not. Are you saying that this section (category) is dedicated only Firefox...because I don't see that...

I'm not sure exactly where you want me to look. I don't see anything at the bottom of a column on the right...

Is this what you want me to read?

Yup, that’s the statement you need to keep n mind.

But, no this forum is not just for Firefox extensions. That said, we have no connection here to reviewing or releasing extensions for any Mozilla software.
