I have upgraded, but failed to make a backup of the calendar data. I have access to the locl.sqlite file (from the old pc), Is it possible to put it in the profile and then edit the config, to inform
Thunderbird/lightening of the file ? I suspect I have to some other way of indicating that specific file, but do not know.
any suggestions/advice is welcomed.
thanks

Re: calendar on new pc
You could get a google calendar, then move everything over on old, then come back in on new. Not sure if there is an easy export/import process.

thanks, I think the thread from

will be easier. I will update after trying.

Re: calendar on new pc
indeed, the method in the linked post, works. all is well again..
all you need to do is put the "calendar.registry" entries ( in my case 4 entries) from the older prefs.js file (old hard drive) into the newer prefs.js file, ( replacing the current calendar.registry entries).
works well. This is the link to the original post, with the solution mid way through the thread ( 02 May 2012 09:01 am )
