Calendar events not displaying

Weird issue I am having with 3.53.1 beta

You may have read that I was having trouble getting my calendar back after installing 2.53.2, so I went back to 2.53.1 b, and by editing the about-config as per reply received, so now calendar is back in V2.53.

Unfortunately no events are displayed. I tried adding an event and it does modify calendar-data/local.sqlite file, approx 992 kb in size. Newly added events get displayed. Copying in the local.sqlite file from a backup which was functional in an earlier release of 2.53 does not display the events. It does eliminate any newly added events, as one might expect.

Re-installing the latest 2.53 today did not resolve the issue.

Any ideas???

Follow the directions for reinstalling Lightning in the Known Issues section of the Release Notes would be what I would attempt.

Thanks, so I tried that. Removed the addon, restarted, reset the distro, restarted, and it came back in all its glory, except unfortunately my events are still not displayed.

If a network calendar. How are you accessing it?

Did you happen to export your calendar to ics or cvs?

I think I found the answer here as per link below - in that apparently somehow my cal_id value in prefs.js has become misaligned with my local.sqlite file.

This must have occurred while installing updates or beta versions.

Fortunately, my calendar did not contain much info, so I found it easier to rebuild the calendar than to perform the repairs in the article below
